Occupational Therapist
Duties and Responsibilities: Occupational Therapist help people
with disabilities to independently carry out everyday task. They work with
adults and children of all ages. The patients may have been born with this disability
or perhaps the got into an accident, or just because of age. Occupational
Therapist create individual treatment programs they may even suggest use of
equipment to help with every day task.
Salary: $75,400
Education: To become an Occupational Therapist you must have
a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. They must also be licensed by the
state they choose to work in.
Reflection: I would not like to have this job because it requires
a lot of school and it’s not something I’m interested in.

Administrator
Duties and Responsibilities: The role of a nursing home
administrator is to make sure everything in the nursing home is running how it’s
supposed to. The nursing home administrator must have a good way to communicate
with people to be successful with their responsibilities.

The must make sure everything is going accordingly
to the guidelines set by the owner and government.

They are the ones who hire and train new employees.

They are the ones in charge of contacting insurance
companies for their patients.

Education: A Baccalaureate or higher level degree from an
accredited educational institution including 15 hours of required coursework in
health care.
